Embedded Linux Developer, Zurich

Based in Zurich. Permanent employment basis, Full-time hybrid role (2 days from home)
We’re working with a leading Swiss telecommunications business to find an Embedded Linux Engineer for their team in Zurich.
Our partner creates telecommunication products and software for a range of customers across healthcare, finance, public services, and more. They are currently looking to refactor a legacy product, lifting it to an up-to-date distribution. For this, they require the need of an experienced Embedded Linux engineer to work alongside the product team and team of engineers.
Your responsibilities:
- Revamping and expanding an existing product through refactoring.
- Crafting new features.
- Collaborating with the team on architecture and software design, including automated testing during development.
- Ensuring quality through code review and unit testing during implementation.
- Managing and improving the software development toolchain (IDE, CI/CD).
- Engaging in agile software development methodologies.
What we expect from you:
- Completed studies in computer science/electrical engineering (Master or Bachelor) or similar
- Expert knowledge of Embedded Linux
- Hands-on experience with C++ / Rust
- Work well both independently and as a team
- Fluent in German and English
